We honestly couldn't recommend The Camera Guys highly enough for their wedding videography service. Sam was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. From our initial zoom meeting, to the completion of our full wedding video, Sam's communication was great and he always made sure we had all of the information we needed.
On the day, Sam was incredible and put all of us at ease. Bruno, who worked alongside Sam for the day, was equally as fantastic. Both guys captured the most beautiful shots of our day, from getting ready, to dancing in the evening. Our guests commented on how lovely they both were, and how they just seemed to disappear into the background in order to get all of the gorgeous candid shots that they did.
The speed of the return of our teaser video was incredible. Sam's edit is just beautiful - every time we watch it, it's like we discover a new detail moment that was captured.
We honestly can't thank Sam and The Camera Guys enough for creating a lifelong memory for us.

The Camera Guys were a last minute decision for us when we were planning our wedding - and frankly they were one of the best decisions we made! Photos are a lovely thing to have to remember your wedding by, but a video really does let you live your wedding day over and over again, as well as catching all the little moments that either you'd never remember, or you didn't realise happening. Sam and April were discrete and seamlessly encapsulated our day in not only a fun teaser video but also a really beautiful longer film of the entire day, including speeches, which was just so special and still brings tears to my eyes when I watch it - a year on from our wedding day! We work together, argue over who gets the best angle, spend far too long talking about cameras, and somehow still really like working with each other.
We know most people don’t spend their lives in front of a camera. You don’t need to know how to pose, where to stand or what to do with your hands. That’s our problem.
We’ll give you a bit of direction when you need it, disappear into the background when you don’t, and let the rest of the day happen properly.

Based near Colchester. Covering Essex, Suffolk, London and beyond.
We photograph and film weddings across Essex, Suffolk, London and throughout the UK, from relaxed countryside celebrations and beautiful old houses to city weddings and somewhere much further from home.
Wherever the wedding happens, the approach stays the same: natural photographs, cinematic films, and just enough direction when you need it, without turning the day into a photoshoot.
Colchester
Colchester is home territory for us, which puts us right on the doorstep for weddings across North Essex and the countryside around it. From relaxed barn weddings and country houses to celebrations closer to town, we can cover photography, film or both together as one team.
Essex
We photograph and film weddings all over Essex, from countryside venues and converted barns to manor houses, hotels and small, intimate celebrations. Being based close by means Essex weddings make up a big part of what we do, but every one is approached as its own story rather than a formula.
Suffolk
Suffolk has some of our favourite places to shoot: open countryside, historic houses, barns and venues surrounded by miles of landscape. We cover wedding photography and videography throughout Suffolk, including full photo + film coverage for couples who’d like everything handled by one team.
London
London weddings have a completely different energy: elegant hotels, iconic streets, historic buildings and celebrations right in the middle of the city. We regularly travel into London for wedding photography and film, and we’re just as happy at an intimate ceremony as a big city celebration.
UK-wide
We don’t limit ourselves to one part of the country. If you’ve found the venue you love, we’ll travel. We cover weddings throughout the UK and are always happy to talk about destination weddings abroad, whether you need photography, film or the two together.

Some couples want photography from the ceremony onwards. Some want every part of the day documented, from morning preparations until the dance floor is packed. Some care most about the photographs. Others know they’ll watch their wedding film every anniversary for the next twenty years.
So we don’t believe in forcing everyone into the same package.
You can book wedding photography, wedding videography, or photo + film together, choose the amount of coverage that makes sense for your day, and add things like a second photographer or filmmaker when you genuinely need one.

Send us your date, venue and what you have in mind. We’ll reply with our availability and everything you need to know.

Choose your coverage
Chat it through however suits you: email, a phone call or a video call. When you’re happy, sign the agreement and pay the booking fee, and the date is yours.

Make a plan together
Closer to the day we’ll go through timings, locations and the moments that matter most, so nothing important gets missed.

Enjoy it, then relive it
On the day, you get to be present. Afterwards, your photographs and films let you relive it exactly as it felt.

Can we book wedding photography and videography separately or together?
Yes. You can book photography on its own, a wedding film on its own, or photo + film together with one team who already work side by side. You can also add social-first content creation. The collection builder shows how each option and amount of coverage fits together, or just tell us what you have in mind.
Who will actually photograph or film our wedding?
Usually us: Sofia behind the stills and Sam behind the film camera. On some weddings a trusted member of our team joins us or covers part of the day, for example as a second shooter, and you’ll know who to expect before your wedding.
We’re not comfortable in front of a camera. Will that be a problem?
Not at all. Most people don’t spend their lives in front of a camera, and you don’t need to know how to pose, where to stand or what to do with your hands. We’ll give you a bit of direction when you need it, disappear into the background when you don’t, and let the rest of the day happen properly.
How is wedding content creation different from a wedding film?
Your wedding film is a carefully edited story of the day, shaped around the strongest moments and the best audio. Content creation is social-first: vertical edits focused on the atmosphere, the energy and the in-between moments, in an easy-to-share format. You can book it on its own or alongside a film.
When will we receive our photographs and films?
It depends on the time of year. In peak season, photographs usually take 4–8 weeks and films 1–4 months. Photography collections include a set of sneak peeks within 72 hours, so you won’t be waiting long for a first look.
How do we secure our wedding date?
Once you’re happy with your coverage, we’ll send over our agreement. When it’s signed and the booking fee is paid, the date is yours. If you have questions before then, ask away by email, phone or video call, whichever you prefer.
